!!UPDATE!! American Birkebeiner !!UPDATE!!

WAX RECOMMENDATION
American Birkebeiner
Cable to Hayward, WI
Saturday February 24
51K Skate or Classic
Race Start 8:20AM and on

Forecast/Conditions: Low of around 20F Friday night with
highs of around 33F Saturday. Expect dirty granular snow that
might be covered with a layer of fresh snow.
Chance of snow Friday and race day!

Glidewax: Beginning with a clean base, apply Dibloc LF Moly, scrape and
brush, then apply Dibloc HF Red/HF Moly, mixed 1:1, scrape and brush.

Finish by ironing in JetStream Moly, and polishing well with a
dedicated nylon polishing brush, followed by a final polish with a
Thermopad. HelX Cold would make an excellent alternative to
JetStream.

Gripwax: See any TOKO Representative found at the Expo

Structure: A universal stonegrind, or two passes using the
Course(offset or linear) wheel of a TOKO Structurite tool (before
applying HF RED/HF Moly layer) will best suit these conditions.

Check the Waxtip page at www.TokoUS.com before all of your races for the latest waxing information.
The Toko Race Wax Tips offer racers precise waxing advice on how to make your skis perform optimally for a given
event. For racers who don’t have top end waxes available, skip the Fluorocarbon (HelX, JetStream) and substitute the
LF or System 3 wax of the same color (Yellow, Red, Blue). Additionally, for those who do not have a rotocork (for
applying JetStream), this step can be replaced by vigorously corking with a dedicated Plasto Cork as the expense of durability.
